Maq-Media was founded in 1998.

Maurits Querido coming from Amsterdam is the owner and founder of Maq Media . He has been living in Novara since 1974, where he decided to found Maq-Media in 1998 , relying on his long experience in the Office Automation and computer science fields. He was involved in the strategic planning putting on the Italian market some of the most well-known Korean (Samsung, LG) and Japanese brand names. During the first years of activity the Italian market was characterized by a prodigious and progressive spreading of internet users. Several internet providers were born until the main societies for telecommunications and publishing went into business (Tin, TISCALI, libero etc.). Maq-media has become one of the main suppliers of CD for the enrolment to internet portals. In a couple of years millions of CD were distributed enclosed to periodicals and newspapers. Maq-media offers to its clients many other services such as VHS duplication, DVD replication, packaging solutions, title and content tracing for audiovisual aids and the materials recycling.

2002: dealing arrangement with Nashua Media Products

The increasing number of users usually downloading from the net is increasing the demand for aids to store the downloaded contents. In order to meet this requirement Maq-media has signed a dealing arrangement with Nashua Media Products, an historical trademark which has been operating in the field for over 30 years. Nashua’s range of proposals meet all the users’ requirements (CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, DVD-RW etc.). Thanks to the excellent service offered to clients, and to the product quality, Maq-media is able to place Nashua’s products in the assortment of products of some of the most important chains of supermarkets.

2006: the latest news!

Maq-media has always had the commitment to foresee the chances offered to operators by a very dynamic market such has that of computer science. In latest years we’ve seen the fast circulation of digital photographs, taken both by cameras and by latest generation mobiles. So many users needs to see the photographs and the films on greater screens without using a computer. In order to meet this requirement Maq-media has signed a dealing arrangement with Compositor. The item articles proposed are digital frames of various sizes. They are able to read data from different types of memory cards usually used for digital cameras and for mobiles. The most sophisticated models can also read films and mp3 files.

Logistics

Maq-media deliveries its products through a well managed, fully-developed and efficient logistics center located in Cologno Monzese. It manages daily deliveries to the points of sales of some of the most important chains of supermarkets. The logistics center also carries out activities such as packaging and labeling with client codes and/or bar codes.
Maq-media makes use of Bartolini Espresso for the shipment. The delivery takes place in 24 hours to chief towns and in 48 hours to islands and to the most remote destinations.

Product customization

Products can be customized in packaging and with the marking “privat label” thanks to a deep and lasting link between Maq-Media, the producers and AVR (logistics center).
